Basic Proofreading
A basic review of your manuscript for surface errors. This type of editing is done after all editorial revisions are completed.

Advanced Content Editing
An in-depth, comprehensive review of your manuscript for grammatical errors, readability, consistency, repetition, accuracy, and cohesion. This type of editing is done when your product is in final production.
- Copyediting
- Reviews for errors in grammar, punctuation, spelling, consistency, syntax; Checks for consistency in tone, spelling, capitalization, font, numerals, hyphenation, word omissions, page formatting;
- Checks for factually incorrect statements;
- Analyzes for inconsistency within stories, manuals, business documents, and more.
- Content Editing
- Line by line edits and suggestions to avoid repetition, awkward phrasing, and word choice.

- Writing Style Formatting: APA, MLA, or Chicago
- Author has an opportunity to comment on the editor’s feedback and suggested revisions.
- Editor will finalize the document based on author feedback and concurrence with the suggested changes.
Editorial Policies
- We require at least 10 business days to review documents 5-30 pages in length. For documents 30 pages or more, a review timeframe is negotiable.
- For advanced editing, clients are asked to request a second pass review seven days after M&M shares the edited version of your document. No other reviews will take place after such period has expired. Thereafter, M&M will consider your product final.
To protect the integrity of academic writing, we only proofread these types of writings, e.g., research papers, theses, and dissertations. Under no circumstances do we engage in advanced content editing of academic writing.
